In treatment of ASD, there are many IV protocols being used, but only a few have been studied in relation to Autism, IVIG being the exception. There are studies showing higher levels of metals in children with autism but no studies on the effects of chelation with Autism although many anecdotal reports exist. Also there are many reports on Glutathione IV improvements but these as well are anecdotal.
